As a Board Certified Orthodontist, Dr. Vidhi Shah looks at each case as an exciting journey that fuels her desire to do the very best for her patients, staff, and profession. Dr. Shah grew up in Illinois and was chosen for the accelerated BS/DMD program at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at SIU School of Dental Medicine. After graduating with honors, she received her master's degree and certification in Orthodontics from Saint Louis University. Her work experience includes the Cardinal Glennon Cleft Palate Clinic. She also became board-certified.
Dr. Shah recently married a Jersey native and loves exploring the area, as well as traveling domestically and internationally. She loves exploring different cultures and cuisines, as well as hiking, running, cooking, and watching sports. Ssshh! Don't tell Dr. Sacks, but Dr. Shah has a HUGE sweet tooth! Ask her about her favorite dessert next time you visit!
Like Dr. Sacks, Dr. Shah aims to change the perception of orthodontic visits. When you visit our office, you’ll experience amazing care in a warm, encouraging, and extremely relational environment. Dr. Shah is a huge part of our goal to make that happen.

Dr. Sacks' father was a surgeon and worked hard to give his patients the best care possible. He allowed his son to shadow him, to follow him as he performed surgeries and followed up with his patients. This taught Dr. Sacks two very important lessons. First, the doctor's calling is complete, holistic, patient-centered care, and that orthopedic surgery wasn't for him. Instead, Dr. Sacks became an orthodontist because he wanted to care for people and bring patients a little joy as they pursue a healthy, beautiful smile.
