Dr. Eric Sacks was born and raised in Toms River, NJ, graduating with honors from Toms River High School North. He then received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. After college, Dr. Sacks was accepted to the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), where he earned his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry degree with honors.
While attending UMDNJ, Dr. Sacks was elected president of his class and president of the Student Government Association, and he won numerous academic and student leadership awards for his achievements. Immediately following dental school, Dr. Sacks attended Montefiore Medical Center’s Graduate Orthodontic Program, where he attained his Post Doctoral Certificate in Orthodontics and served as the hospital’s chief orthodontic resident.
In his spare time, Dr. Sacks enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Jill, and their children, twins Gracie and Henry. He also loves dogs (he has two – Roxie and Riley) and enjoys mountain biking, golf, traveling, and helping support the local community.
